The DeLucia's- Singing Hills Golf Course

So I must confess that I am a little tardy getting these pictures of my cousin's family up on the blog. You might have been able to spot it out since their attire fits perfect for Christmas time. Since I have been home for college I have been busier than ever not only with photography stuff, but the "real world". Yup, Brianne and I are permanently here to stay and with that brings a lot of new experiences we never had to take care of when we lived the nomadic lifestyle. Enough with the excuses. Plain and simple, the month of January has been a major catching up time. At least it isn't summer before these went up!

Every year Roman and Bella receive Christmas outfits from a friend of the family and so Eileen and Tom decided to get some Christmas pictures taken to showcase the generous gift. We headed out to Singing Hills Golf Course for the shoot. Roman and Bella are just full of energy. Most of the shoot I was out of breath because they were wanting to constantly chase me! We had such a fun time and got some really good shot. Thank you DeLucia's for being patient with me since it took a while to get these posted.

The Smith Family- Homestead Heritage

Almost 10 years ago I left California to attend college at Baylor University in good'ole Waco, Texas and was immediately adopted by the Smith family who saw to it to be my parents away from home. During my college experience Alan and Melanie have supported me, cooked for me, cheered me on during baseball games, and just about everything else parents love to do for their children. I even got to play the role of an older brother to Katie and Audrey.

Fast forward to this past Fall... I finally had to go back to school to finish my undergrad after all these years of baseball. The craziest part is that Katie, who was just starting high school when I began my college career, now shared a class with me. I felt real old.

At the end of the semester we all headed to this awesome community called, Homestead Heritage to take some pictures. You for sure should click on the link to find out more about this place. We had such a great time, despite being freezing cold, exploring the community. I am convinced I would love to live the simple lifestyle these people live... well, maybe not permanently.

Alan, Melanie, Katie, and Audrey, thanks for letting me be a part of your family all these years.

Lisa + Kent-Engagement Session - Balboa Park

Lisa and Kent are one of the nicest couples I have ever worked with. I have loved getting to know them. Alesha(one of my sister's best friends/co wedding planners) from EverAfter Events introduced me to Lisa and Kent and its been so much fun learning more of their story. Their engagement session took place in the beautiful Balboa Park. It was a place of significance for them because Kent proposed to Lisa in the rose garden. It was fun to re-enact that amazing day by taking photos in the rose garden and all around the park. I am really looking forward to shooting their wedding at the Scripps Seaside Forum in March. Thank you Lisa and Kent for sharing these special moments with me.

Stacy + Justin Wedding - Thursday Club

Stacy and Justin are an amazingly beautiful couple inside and out and Stacy designed a beautiful 1950's style wedding. Her classic black and white theme was gorgeous with her vintage red lipstick, chic veil and feminine pearls. She also brought some funk into it with pops of mustard yellow in the boy's ties and girls flowers and accessories. We loved the boys in suspenders and chucks. So adorable. Justin and Stacy met in college at SDSU. They had an amazing friendship before they began dating. Anyone who has met them, knows that they were created for eachother. Their faith in the Lord is incredible and alive for everyone to see. Their love for eachother sparkles in their eyes! We felt so honored to be apart of their special day. Stacy and I have been friends since college and it has been wonderful to watch her love grow for Justin.
Here is just a sneak peak of their gorgeous days at the Thursday Club, Point Loma.
We had the honor to shoot the wedding with the very talented videographer Tom O Hara from AquaVivus , if you are on the fence about budgeting for a videographer, dont think twice, Tom's work is INCREDIBLE. Please click on his business for the link.
Thank you Stacy and Justin for being amazing friends and allowing us to capture the day!
