Hume Lake: Stephanie and Cuen: Wedding

I am in love with the outdoors. There is nothing better than being able to escape the fast paced lifestyle of cell phones, internet and "The Hills".. I mean, I have only seen it a few times when my wife made me watch it. To place a wedding in the middle of the Sierra's with the most amazing Redwoods towering over you, it makes you stop and think about the Grand Design of love and nature and how both seem to be at their purest form when removed from the chaos of society. Stephanie and Cuen's wedding captured the essence of this purity...white snow and all. Yes, let me repeat that... it started snowing at one point.. in the middle of MAY!! It was freezing and I felt so bad for all the girls in their dresses and open-toed shoes. I don't know how they did it, because I had 2 pairs of socks, thermas, pants, long-sleeved shirt and a sweater vest and I was still frozen. Overall, their wedding turned out great and despite the cold we got some pretty awesome pictures. Thanks Stephanie and Cuen for inviting us to share in your beautiful day. We look forward to seeing you guys when we are able to get back up to Hume.
